On the concept of “revenge-ineering” and a new type of peacemaking

First we faced 9/11 … what seemed a brutal blip in the course and progress of longer-term global relations.

But then again, maybe not.

Because we recently have had to try and understand Putin’s Russia’s wholly illegitimate ongoing invasion of Ukrainian territories. With the manifest and related primary purpose of dislocating Western and similar socioeconomic and democratic impulses for the long-term.

Now Hamas disregards both the life of Israeli people and what it would nominally judge to be its “own”: but who so carefully uses their “own” as human shields against those who are placed in a position where they must, inevitably, respond?

I first posted the essay/slide-deck below on a newly created sister-site. It is, in fact, I think, what immediately triggered me into creating the site in the first place:

I’m locating this very same essay now on the documentation section of the site you have before you.

And it’s a document I truly wish hadn’t occurred to me to scope: not because it’s written in bad faith or reads as if it might be. Just because the event that encouraged me to develop the ideas is, in some ways, not an easy matter to get one’s head round; and not just in the geopolitical, historical or humanitarian senses you may assume I am primarily alluding to.
